Hfss in windows 7 Hey guys. I tried to install Hfss v11 in windows 7. I used the compatibility tool to windows XP (sp2) and the installation went smooth. The problem is when I try to start the application, I keep getting this annoying error: 'Failed to check out license hfssdesktop Invalid. Hfss Failed To Checkout License Branch. – Navigation Map Update – For smaller screen Business Navigation vehicles – We can update the mapping software as well as providing the relevant FSC activation code.

  Please try setting the environment variable ANSYS_EM_DONOT_PRELOAD_3DDRIVER_DLL=1 to get around the problem.

  You don't add it to the Path variable. You click 'New' to create a new variable. The variable name will be ANSYS_EM_DONOT_PRELOAD_3DDRIVER_DLL and the Value will be 1.
